Review- Miners Cosmetics Mood Gloss and Blusher Brick

Hi everyone! This review is on some new products from the brand Miners Cosmetics. The Mood Glosses are £2.49 each and the Blusher Brick's are £4.49 each. You can buy them here.

Mood Glosses

Miners Cosmetics says-

"Mood Gloss by Miners Cosmetics is a range of festival inspired lipglosses. In much the same way as the 'must have' accessory of the 60's, Mood Gloss has colour changing technology that reacts with your individual ph-level creating a lip colour that is completely unique to you."

I really like the mood gloss in the shade 'Peace Pout' as it turns to a really nice pink colour on my lips. However, I feel like the shade 'Glastonberry' was a little too bright on my lips. The glosses change colour quite quickly and they last a good couple of hours which is great for a lipgloss!

Blusher Bricks

Miners Cosmetics says-

"Blusher Brick is a collection of face powders created to leave you with a stunning and natural glow. The bricked powder is specially created to leave your complexion an all over, even coverage allowing you to build up your favourite blush shade."

I'm not sure about using these products as a powder all over your face but they are great as a blusher/bronzer! They last ages and are very pigmented but not so much that you have to be really careful with it. I personally prefer the brown version as I prefer a bronzer rather than a pink based blush. I like that you can use the darker colour in both the products as a bit of a contour. Overall I really like these products and they are definitely great for the price!

Have you tried any Miners Cosmetics products? Do you think you might?

Makeup Look- Glittery Green

This look started off as quite a basic green eye which I thought was boring so I pressed a load of green glitter over it. This is when I realise I need a much better camera as the look appears a lot more glittery in real life and a lot nicer too.

I hope you like it!

Makeup Look- Chocolate

I am very inventive with the names of my looks as you can tell! You can always suggest better names if you want. But this look really does remind me of chocolate and I hope you like it!

I really hope you like it and as always, don't forget to leave a comment! I'm always interested in knowing what looks you would like me to do.

Review- Montagne Jeunesse Virgin Olive Deep Cleansing Face Masque

What Montagne Jeunesse says-

"Nourish with our cold pressed Virgin Olive Oil mud masque for soft and supple skin. We’ve added ultra-moisturising rich Shea & Cocoa butter to leave your skin super smooth and deeply cleansed."

I really liked this mask! I wasn't too keen on the smell but my skin felt thoroughly cleansed and moisturised afterwards. I would definitely buy it again as it is a great basic mask cleansing mask.

You can purchase these masks at Asda, Boots, Claires, Morrison, Sainsburys, Superdrug, Tesco and Wilkinson! As well as online  here.

Review- Nalu Beads The Islands Collection

Hi everyone! Today's review is a little different, it's not a beauty product but jewellery- which is a nice change! I really do like jewellery, there's something special about finishing off an outfit with your favourite piece of jewellery.

Nalu Beads are a brand that sell different collections of beads inspired by different holiday breaks and 'the sea and it's ever changing moods and beauty from season to season.' All the different collections are quite different and each one is just stunning! I chose The Islands Collection, apart from the green beads that I don't like as much. I really like each of the beads that I have  and they make such a lovely bracelet. I think my favourite thing about the brand is that they send you the thong and the beads not made up, so you can tie your bracelet however you want. For ideas on how to tie your beads click here. I will attempt to show you how I did it below-

Start off by folding both pieces of thong in half. Tie them at the end as shown above.

Put the two shorter strands in the middle and pull the longer strands out on either side.

With the two longer threads, tie it as shown above and pull the knot tight. Repeat this knot over and over. If you want it to be a flat knot like I have then alternate the side that you start the knot on. If you want it to be a twisty knot then start on the same side each time.

When you are ready, thread a bead on and carry on the knot over the bead.

When you have finished just tie it off and cut off any excess thong!

I would recommend you measure your wrist first and think about when you want the beads to start or you will end up finishing the bracelet and having to do it over again like me because it was to long and not equal on each side!

The quality of the beads and thong seems really good and I love the creativity that you need to make it and that you don't just buy it made. It would make a really good gift!

The beads cost between about £9.95 each and £12.95. This is quite pricey if you buy multiple beads like I have and the thong (£2.75) but I think it is worth the money! You can purchase them here.

Really hope you enjoyed this post and found the picture instructions helpful!

Miners Cosmetics Spring Summer Nail Collection Review

Spring and summer are my favourite season for nail polish, I love all the fun colours. The colours in this collection are great and I really do love them all!

The good...
I love that these polishes only need to coats to be opaque. They are really easy to apply and are really strong colours. They also dry a lot quicker than some other more expensive polishes. My favourite colour is the light pink one, and I don't usually go for the more natural colour, but I love this pink!

The not so good...
The only thing I don't like about these is that they chip quite quickly so you definitely need a good top coat.

Overall...
I love these! The colours are all so pretty and I can't wait to wear them more when the sun actually comes out!

You can buy these polishes here for £2.99.

Hope you enjoyed this post! What are your favourite nail polish colours/brands for Spring and Summer?
